What is Osteopathy?
Osteopathy is a holistic manual therapy profession that views and treats the body as a whole, taking into consideration all parts structurally and functionally, including the nervous system, circulatory system and musculoskeletal system. Osteopathy treats the cause of the symptom and allows the body space and balance for its innate ability to heal itself. Osteopathy is customized for each patient and is therefore suitable for everyone of all ages, from infants to seniors. Our therapists studied surgical level functional anatomy and practice principle-based osteopathy.

What to Expect on your first Visit
Our Osteopathic Manual Practitioners, after having a thorough look at your health history, will perform a dynamic assessment of the way your body moves, followed by a treatment plan. The treatment may include the above “hands-on” techniques which incorporates structural manipulation to facilitate a physiological response in the body. Treatments are usually performed with the patient fully clothed on a sanitized treatment table. Comfortable clothes are recommended.
